Solid Ball May 24, 2010 Seattle Soccer Dad (Seattle, WA) What can you say about a Medicine Ball? Well, this one is a really good choice (I already own the 8 lbs. version). It is very durable and the surface allows for a great grib. It smells a bit at the beginning (like new car tires) but the smell goes away after a couple of days (you might want to air it out before keeping it in the house).
The rubber ball stinks! May 7, 2010 Marc Ganych (CT) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
This rubber medicine ball stinks literally! It smells like it was dipped in gasoline, the smell is unbearable!
takes a beating well April 22, 2010 m.prudhomme (cali) i got this for some medicine ball slams and i think it's going to hold up well
good March 28, 2010 Philip It is a nice medicine ball. About the size of a basketball and has the same feel on the outside. It is quite bouncy too so it works well for throwing against a wall. Was a little to bouncy for me when doing slams as it bounces back in my face. Smelled a bit rubbery at first but that went away after it air-ed out in the garage for a few days.
Love the grip March 9, 2010 Phil (Boston, MA) I love the grip of this medicine ball. The weight is perfect too. My favorite exercise is the woodchopper and I'm able to do it with great force without letting go of the ball. I also do abdominal exercises and can feel the burn very quickly. I'm currently following the "North Carolina Tar Heels medicine ball workout program". Google it if interested.
